Vicky Martin
I’m Vicky Martin, a qualified person-centred counsellor based in Bolton, offering professional counselling and therapy online and in person. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, burnout, or grief, or simply feeling stuck and unsure why, we can explore what’s going on together. I will support you in making sense of your experiences in your own way, at your own pace.
How I can support you:
Emotional Wellbeing and Life Challenges
Sometimes life can feel heavy, whether from stress, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, low mood, burnout, or the lingering effects of past experiences. You might be facing a difficult season or simply have a sense that something isn’t quite right.
I offer a calm, accepting space for emotional support and counselling, where you can begin to untangle what’s going on for you, gently, in your own way, and at your own pace.
Specialist Support for Women’s Health and Life Transitions
Alongside general counselling, I have a particular interest in supporting women’s emotional well-being and health-related transitions. This includes the emotional impact of pregnancy, birth, perinatal mental health, menopause, and the grief and adjustment that can come with pregnancy loss or bereavement.
I also support those navigating overwhelm, caregiver fatigue, and the ongoing challenges of living with long-term health conditions or recovering from trauma or life-changing events.
You Are Not Alone – Take the First Step Towards Support.
Whatever you are carrying, there is space for it here. You deserve to feel supported, heard, and understood. If you are wondering whether counselling could help, I invite you to book a free 20-minute consultation, a gentle first step where you can ask questions, talk about what is going on for you, and get a feel for whether this support feels right.
